No, I am not this guy. And thanks to Larry for letting me know that the link to my store was missing a letter. I should also mention that KellyRnot2, to my knowledge, has no affiliation with Natural Family Boutique. I, however, am affiliated. And let me also mention, that there is still time to get orders in for the holidays, though I'd recommend you letting me check our current inventory and ETA's before you order, as some things are on backorder.
On a somewhat related note, I do sometimes wonder if its really smart to have a link on my blog to my business, since my business does have my phone number on it, but so far, I haven't been harassed, mainly because I think most of the people reading my blog already have my number anyway.

Lots of randomness
I had a dream last night that i ate something, not something i'd never had before, just some random food, and it made my throat swell so that I couldn't breathe. That was NOT fun.
So yes, Michael is home. Took a little bit for Mikayla to warm up to him, but she's fine now. (little bit being, like, 20minutes).
We're on a tight budget and we went grocery shopping for the next 10 days and only spent $70. I'm not convinced that this even makes sense mathematically.
My court date is quickly approaching and Michael has to work that day, we have no sitter. This sounds like a ton of fun.
Mikayla poured diet coke into an empty jose cuervo margarita bottle and told me that she was drinking "beer coke" though actually she said "bee-ah coke." that kid has the weirdest accent.
and now she won't leave my caps lock alone so i have to keep backspacing. AND michael brought me a new keyboard and its really super dee duper annoying and i can't reach the shift or the backspace well on it - hence, the lackof capitalization, and any typosthat I overlooked. like those spacing errors there that i now refuse to go back and fix.

There are few things in life that I'm willing to get up before 6 am for. Or 8 am for that matter. I usually schedule afternoon doctor appointments. By the time we get up and eat and dressed, we rarely even make it to 10 am functions on time. Somehow, I do manage to make it to church at 9:45 most Sundays. Maybe its the lack of sleep talking here, but I really am drawing a blank on things that would warrant me being up while it is still dark out.
However, today, I have good reason.
I'll be leaving in around an hour. When I pull out of that driveway, I'll have two passengers. When I pull back in sometime later today, which hopefully won't be too many hours, I'll have 3 passengers. Yeah, I think thats worth getting up early for.

Kuwait
Got an email. He's in Kuwait. Must go finish cleaning the house.
Oh yeah, and my package finally arrived at like 8:30pm. thats just insane!
BTW, don't expect thrillingly witty entries anytime soon. My brain has just turned to slush. Anything I wrote might be humorous, because you'd say "Holy crap she's an idiot!!" but certainly not witty.
Oh, wait. I do have an Aaric quote for today.
"Mom, I found this rock under the chair, and it is filthy and hard."
Well kid, rocks aren't exactly known for being cuddly.
Also, he'd like to know what the F--- word in "A Christmas Story" is. I told him I'll tell him in around 15 years. He's 5 now. If he doesn't figure it out by the time he's 20, I'll tell the poor guy. He says if I tell him, he won't say it. Yeah right! This from the kid who told Mikayla that she "scared the crap" out of him the other day. I mean, not that I cringe at the word "crap", its just unsettling to hear my 5 yr old using it on a regular basis. And just my luck, if I was dumb enough to tell him what the word is, he'd utter it front of my dad. Who once lectured my then 18 yr old brother on his recent usage of the word "butt."

Missing Finger Update
You guessed it - its still missing.
Seriously though...
They went to the specialist today and he thinks its actually healing quite nicely. The doctor came in, sat down and said, "Well young man, what have you done?" He replied, "I cut off my finger!" There ya have it! He is a very petite little 3 yr old, I think the doctor wasn't expecting such a clear answer.
he says its healing well and he doesn't think they need to remove the joint. So no surgery. My mother-in-law/his Nana will be putting some enzyme stuff on it to get it cleaned out real good - she hadn't done it before only because she wanted to wait and see what all the doctor said about it first.
So, I guess the finger tale is over. Unless they wind up later deciding to get a toe attached. That would be fun, and the other doctor DID suggest it. Sister in Law seemed pretty freaked out by that idea though.
In other news...
I won't say anything official until I know for sure.
But I haven't heard from Michael today. I'm assuming its because the phone lines this morning/his evening in Kuwait were too long. Otherwise, he's just being a meanie and not calling me while he sits around in Iraq waiting on their flight. Which would be just plain rude, and totally uncalled for.
I may as well also add my little vent... WHY DOES UPS HATE ME???? WHY AM I THE LAST STOP OF THE DAY EVERY SINGLE TIME??? And why do I refresh the tracking screen every time, AFTER it has already said "out for delivery" - as if its going to say "approximately 8 miles from your house, with 13274 stops to go" on the status page?? Though, once, I refreshed and was shocked to see that it said "Delivered." I never saw the truck, but sure enough, there was a box on the porch. Creepy. I think that was Fed Ex. They're sneaky. {just a pissed off update. its now 8:23. still "out for delivery." it does not take 12 hours to make the drive from the UPS warehouse to here. I promise.}
Also, one last thing. Notice that the coding is fixed right so that my sidebar is back where it belongs? Yeah, I'm a genius. No, really its that blogger is stupid. I swear. I took the google ad out because i wasn't making anything off of it anyway, and its what screwed the coding up. But still, i couldn't get the sidebar fixed. SO I saved my whole template in word, then redid the whole thing. started from scratch, redid the template, read through them both side by side to find the differences. The only differences were the stuff i had in the sidebar and the counter, both of which areas are now coded *exactly* the way they were before. But stupid blogger needed me to clear it all out and enter it all in again, to recognize that. So now it works.
