Sometimes, I don't feel like eating, especially in the past few days. When I do eat, it may or may not have much (or any) nutritional value. If I'm thirsty, I WILL drink tea or coke (one day I thought to buy caff free). If I'm hungry and thirsty and my head hurts, and we have bottled frappuccino in the house, I will drink that. Its quick and easy and makes me feel all better.
Now, in my last two pregnancies, Michael was the only person around on a daily basis who really understood anything that was going on. With Aaric, there were no other people in the house, and with Mikayla, Aaric was a very young toddler. I took him to appointments with me when I had to - but he was more concerned with trying to break the medical equipment than anything that was said.
This time, I'm not so lucky. Last night, when I was very hungry, and thirsty, and had a headache, I grabbed a frappuccino from the fridge and started gulping.
My five year old informed me that I'm allowed to have only ONE caffeine drink in the morning. This wasn't morning, it was evening - so he decided that I was breaking the rules. That kid's not going to any more appointments. No one appreciates a nagging know-it-all five year old boy!
