Meet new mom-van:
The new one has tinted windows, rear air, more cargo space, automatic everything. The old model lacked all of the above. Oh, and the new one has a V6. Very nice.
We currently have 3 cars in front of our house - old van, new van, inherited Caddy. And Michael's shopping for a cheap truck of some sort to use this summer. Old van and Caddy are both soon to be sold.
While I don't have any pictures displaying his rank from before, here's Michael with his newly pinned rank - 2nd Lieutenant (and the rest of us):
If anyone reading this has a better picture of this occasion, by all means email it to me. Do you know how hard it is to get 5 people to look at a camera at the same time? It's impossible.
And because I'm a tease, this is the "before" shot...

But I have no "after" shot. Partly because my batteries died a few minutes later. Partly because he was way too distracted and messy to take pictures a few minutes ago after I changed the batteries. So you'll have to wait. I know you'll be on the edge of your seats. Did we get him a little buzz cut? A mohawk? Trim up the front to make him have a rockin' mullet? Chicken out and snatch him from that awesome little airplane just as the scissors were poised and ready to cut? You'll just have to wait and see.
