Hi! We have 3 kids!

Could it possibly take me any longer to update?
The full birth story will be posted on my website eventually. The basics is that I was in labor for a total of 21 hours, but only 3 of it "real" active labor. It started at 4 am (my usual labor-starting-time) and Xander was born at 1:22 am September 15th. We don't know how much he weighed, because Lulu forgot to pack the scale. We estimated 7.5-8 lbs, and at 4 days he was 7 lbs 7 oz. 20.25 inches long, 13 inch head.
Today, we went in for a checkup. He's up to 10 lbs 12 oz and 21.5 inches long.
At first, Mikayla was pretty standoffish. Now she just smothers him with kisses all day long. Which is kind of annoying because that means she's always hovering over me. Aaric started out overly excited. He'd jump around and sing loudly to try to entertain him. He's calmed down a lot now. So they're both gradually adjusting to having a new baby in the house. And Michael and I are gradually getting used to the idea that we have THREE kids. There are FIVE of us. It's a bit mind boggling. But it's all going great.
