I keep thinking of things to blog about, and then I think, "but no! I need to finish the Reading Rainbow one, first!"
But now it's been two months and I haven't had time to create the thought-provoking post that was swirling around in my mind.
So, the nutshell instead:
I think it was a great idea to have a show that revolved around literature. It encouraged kids to read. Sure, kids can be encouraged to read in other ways, but they can also be taught the alphabet in other ways. I wish that the goals of Reading Rainbow were still a priority.
Now, Michael is gone for the next 10 days, so I'm sure that much hilarity (or calamity, or both) will ensue. So, do stay tuned.

Speaking of public television - i'm sure you've heard people call public schools "government schools." Well it may be time to call public tv "gov't television"...did you read/hear about Sid the Science Kid getting his flu shot?
I have missed your posts. Glad you are back.
Did Michael tell you our latest plans? Maybe we'll be back at Bragg... I'll keep you posted.
Have fun while he is gone. Not too much hilarity or calamity - just enough for a really great blog, right?
Yes, yes, come back to Bragg!!!
Gina, no, I did not hear about or see that episode. My kids asked me the other day if I'd get them the rabies shot if they ever got bit by a rabid animal. They were shocked that I would, not only because it's an evil SHOT, but because surely I don't want to slow them down on their journey to heaven! They are so weird.
Kelly - I gave you an award/project on my page. You never do anything like that, but I thought it would be worth a try. Drop by, check it out, and have fun!
Ooh, yippee!
Now, details on the "maybe back to Bragg!" thing, missy!
This last week and a half hasn't been nearly as hilarious as I'd hoped. Oh well.
