Probably not. Lots to report!
Remember how two weeks ago, I said that we'd be moving soon? Yeah, we didn't expect it to be quite this soon. We got the phone call today, and we're moving Feb 11. It's in the neighborhood we wanted, and the house looks great. The road is a loop, and we're on the inner side of the loop, so there's plenty of room for the kids to run and play. There are a few big, old oak trees in the middle, which is nice. Our next door neighbors just moved over there a couple weeks ago, and we'll be across the street and 2 houses down from them. Aaric is very excited about that, because he loved playing with their oldest. We're told that there are lots of girls in the area, which will be great for Mikayla, who has been surrounded by testosterone the last several months - between siblings and neighbors, it's almost all boys.
We talked to a lady outside another house who said that they were just moving in, and offered to let us take a look around. They didn't even have their furniture in the house yet. It's so big and nice and pretty. I'll be happy to have much newer appliances again, as the ones here are a bit older and tearing up (especially the dishwasher.) Oh, and the laundry room is upstairs! No more hauling laundry up and down! We're very excited - yet a little nervous about moving so soon after the baby comes.
The baby is obviously not here yet. I go tomorrow at noon for a prenatal massage, and he'll be adding in the acupressure massage points to try to get labor started. He says it doesn't always work, but often does, and I might even start early labor before he's done!
So, the other night, Xander sees my big, bare belly. He'd just told the other two kids good night, so he came to pat my belly and tell the baby good night, too. I told him to tell the baby he loved him, and he did. So I said, "Tell the baby to get out!" And he says, "Get out, Baby! Go see Grandma!"
